Cycling for a Charity Fund                                    home

During our trip we collected money for a project of the charity fund Heifer Netherlands by  media attention and through sponsoring by companies and individuals.This project, 'Cows for Cameroon' aims to support poor families by donating them a cow and  training them in animal farming. 

  Heifer The Netherlands, is related to other Heifer organisations, however it has its own projects. 

Heifer sends animals (and training in their care) that offer hungry families around the world a way to feed themselves and become self-reliant. Children receive nutritious milk or eggs; families earn income for school, health care and better housing; communities go beyond meeting immediate needs to fulfilling dreams. Farmers learn sustainable, environmentally sound agricultural techniques.
